Dear Readers, dear Followers.

We hope that you had a nice summer break and the possibility to relax and get involved in non-purely professional activities.

Like many other media dealing with the life science sector, our main interest in 2020 and early 2021 was focusing on issues linked to the COVID-19 outbreak and then COVID-19 vaccines. Most colleagues who work with me agree on one thing: it is getting more and more difficult to find stories to bring to you on a regular basis about the pandemic right now, except for a the emergence of new variant or the relevance of booster shots. Just before the summer, we have made the effort to report on other important topics of the biopharmaceutical industry and keep with our moto: “no news without new”. Nevertheless, it seems as if several of our readers have been over saturated with the news flow we edit and publish. Mailchimp, our news marketing platform, has informed us that since the beginning of the year, they have identified and monitored a slow but constant decrease in the number of readers who open or forward our reports. This is becoming a major concern to us, and a clear indicator that our reports do not have the same attraction they used to have in previous times.

We have been using this summer break to assess our current value proposition to you and we are now considering either a different editorial line for the future or, more likely, a final halt and the ending of this news reporting activity.

We are eager to receive, read and analyse feed-back from our current readers and followers. We will thoroughly analyse this feed-back before making up our final decision
